Just to give you a heads up that the official US launch for LOST IN THE SHADOWS will be at the upcoming HORRORHOUND WEEKEND in Indianapolis on September 8th till the 10th.

I will be on hand to sign copies of the book, which will be available at the show, as will Billy Wirth, Jamison Newlander, Chance Corbitt, Tim Cappello and G Tom Mac.

This marks my first trip back to Indianapolis in TEN YEARS, having attended the first two events in 2007 to promote the production of my documentary BEWARE THE MOON.

Well after six months of blood, sweat and tears, LOST IN THE SHADOWS - THE STORY OF THE LOST BOYS is complete and is now ready for pre-order EXCLUSIVELY over at Cult Screenings UK. 

I'm extremely proud of this book and hope that fans of the movie enjoy it as much as I have making it.   I was absolutely blown away to spend two hours on the phone with director Joel Schumacher, who aired his utter delight with the finished manuscript.

Hey gang, just a heads up to let you know that I'll be doing my first EVER autograph signing at Croydon Geek Con on Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th.  I'll be signing photos, or your own items, all weekend at The Ship in Croydon alongside Nichoals Vince from HELLRAISER and NIGHTBREED (who is only appearing on Saturday).  In addition I'll be doing a Q&A on the Sunday, talking about everything from my appearance in DOCTOR WHO and my current book project on the making of 1987 cult favourite, THE LOST BOYS.

I'll have 8x10s from my DOCTOR WHO appearance on hand for autographs.  I'm only charging £5 per autograph, ALL OF WHICH will go to Cancer Research UK and The Wayne Foundation.

We're not shutting up shop for Christmas JUST yet. Literally minutes after wrapping our second phone conversation with Kiefer Sutherland, I received word that Corey Feldman had granted us a brand new interview for the 30th Anniversary book on the making-of THE LOST BOYS.

Corey starred in a multitude of classic movies such as GREMLINS, THE GOONIES, STAND BY ME, LICENSE TO DRIVE and THE BURBS, but it's his portrayal as Edgar Frog that had him slaying vampires in Joel Schumacher's 1987 cult classic.

I'm absolutely thrilled to reveal that I will be conducting a BRAND NEW interview with 'David' himself, Kiefer Sutherland, for the 30th anniversary making-of THE LOST BOYS book, LOST IN THE SHADOWS.

We confirmed Kiefer a few weeks back but were waiting 100% on a confirmation date for which I'll be talking to him.

Sutherland's performance as David is unparalleled in terms of his charismatic yet enigmatic performance in THE LOST BOYS. His addition to the interview roster is a huge boost for the project, as we continue to entice more cast and crew members to recall their experience making the movie.

We hope to announce some more names in the New Year, but we figured this announcement is the perfect closing gift as we wrap up for...

In the spirit of the great 1,000 lists compiled by the likes of Edgar Wright, and many others, I decided to push myself and create a list over on MUBI of TWO THOUSAND movies that I love and enjoy.

It is a list of films (features, shorts and documentaries) that I personally like. Purely my own opinion.  I'm not in anyway saying these are the best films of all time - for Christ's sake, Condorman is on here! This is simply for the fun of pushing myself to find 2,000 films (mostly based on my own collection) that I love, adore and would recommend to anyone (yes, even Deadly Friend).

It's been a pretty full on and epic week for THE LOST BOYS 30th anniversary book project - LOST IN THE SHADOWS. Things kicked off in a rather 'excellent' way, with a 50min interview with Alex Winter, who of course played the vampire 'Marko' in the film. Shortly after that phone call, I received word that the director of THE LOST BOYS, the brilliant JOEL SCHUMACHER, will be joining us to talk about his time directing the movie.

Now if THAT wasn't enough - and this one kills me,  literally five minutes later I got an email from the publicist of one of the biggest names associated to the film, confirming his involvement in the project. Now the reason this kills me is because I don't have the green light to announce this person...
